Osteopathy
Cranial and Structural

Osteopathy is a form of alternative medicine that uses a patient focused, physical approach to examine, diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of health problems and conditions. Osteopaths use a combination of movement, stretching, targeted deep tissue massage and manipulation of a person’s muscles and joints to improve function, relieve pain and, most importantly, support the body's ability to heal itself. Our aim is to help promote physical and psychosocial well being.

Restore Scar Therapy for C Sections
A woman's body undergoes huge change during pregnancy. A hormone called Relaxin softens the tissues, this, along with the weight of the baby can impact joints and muscles particularly around the spine and pelvis causing discomfort. Osteopathy can help to relieve the stresses and strains on the body during this time and help rehabilitate after birth.

Restore Scar Therapy for C Sections
Scar Therapy is a method of non-evasive physical therapy to treat scar tissue, fibrosis nd adhesions after surgery or injury. WE use specialist scar massage, fascial release and self care to promote healthy recovery.

Infant Feeding Coaching

Birth can cause infants to have some strains and tensions, which may make them uncomfortable. Osteopathic treatment may help your child to overcome the musculoskeletal strains that they may still be experiencing from birth. This can help the baby to settle, relax and feed more easily. Gentle techniques will be tailored to your child’s’ needs and everything will be fully explained throughout.  The treatments we offer are suited to treat children of any age.
